Our final MOMSnext meeting

It's so hard to believe that another year has gone by.  School is drawing to an end in the next few weeks and soon the kids will be complaining about how bored they are at home. Ah the joys of summer.  But before I get ahead of myself, we have our final MOMSnext meeting of the year this Friday 5/9 from 9:30-11:30.  This is a meeting you really do not want to miss!  There is going to be an AMAZING catered brunch and a wonderful time of fellowship during our Tea & Testimony.

This will also be my last meeting as coordinator for the MOMSnext group at Calvary Chapel Boise.  I have loved serving as coordinator for both MOPS and MOMSnext for the past 4 years  It has been such a blessing to myself as well as for my family.  I have made many friendships that will never be forgotten.  We believe it is essential that the Coordinator of a ministry be an attending member of Calvary Chapel and after I moved to N. Meridian this year we started looking at some churches in a more convenient location.  We (the Hartruft family) have recently found another church that we feel God has called us to so we will no longer be attending Calvary.  Therefor I must pass the MOMSnext torch and if there isn't anyone ready to fill the position this next year I will plan on just attending the MOMSnext group at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Friday April 25th

We are winding down the MOMSnext clock for the year, with only 2 meetings left.  Tomorrow, Friday April 25th we will joining MOPS for a Fun Fashion Fix.  I desperately need some fashion tips from a professional and this woman knows how to shop on a budget.  This will be a great meeting for EVERYONE!!!  Bring a friend, this is a great meeting to share MOMSnext!

We only have one meeting in May...our last of the year.  May 9th will be our Tea & Testimony.  We will have a delicious catered brunch and have an opportunity to hear from Mom's about how MOPS & MOMSnext has has a positive impact on their lives.  You are welcome to share...or not :)  There will be an open Mic time while we eat.  Please come for this last meeting of the year!

Pastor Bob Caldwell to speak on Friday April 11th

Just a reminder that we meet this Friday in the large Youth room with the MOPS group.  Same time 9:30-11:30.  We are going to listen to Pastor Bob Caldwell (Pastor of Calvary Chapel Boise) as our guest speaker.  He has a wonderful message planned.

FYI- I will be a little late getting there, but I am hoping to be there at about 10:00.  Because of our move and having some documents packed we are a little late meeting with our Tax Accountant :)  So this was our only day/time available.  I am so sorry.

Spring Break

For Spring break I have decided that we should have a family Day out...or In actually.  The weather originally said rain for tomorrow so with unpredictable weather I have decided that we will have Lunch at my house then go to the Village Cinema for an afternoon movie.  Tuesday March 25th.

(I am on Meridian Rd between Ustick and McMillan) Across the street from Settlers Park.)  Just look for the GINORMOUS oak tree.

I have a long driveway and plenty of parking in the back.

We will meet at my house at 11:00 for lunch.  This is a Potluck style so bring something to share, that way I don't need anyone to have to confirm.

My younger kids will be going to a friends so it will just be Ethan (11yrs).  

The kids will watch:

Mr. Peabody & Sherman at 1:00 (you can watch that too if you don't want to let them see a movie in a different theater, but Ethan is very responsible)

We will be watching Divergent that starts at 1:10 (BUT doesn't get out until 3:30, the kids movie gets out at 2:30.  Ethan and Zoe, Mylea's 11 year old daughter will probably walk around a bit and head over to the Ice Cream shop until we get out)

End of the Year Schedule

It's strange to think that the end of the year is approaching...but it is.  I thought I would post the rest of the meeting schedule so you would know what is coming up.

March 25th- I know this is a Tuesday but it's Spring break so we are going to have a Family Day Out.  We will be having lunch at my house and seeing a movie at The Village.  I will email out more info the movie listings come out.

April 11th- This is our last regular meeting.  9:30-11:30 in Youth Building.

April 25th- Pastor Bob Caldwell will be speaking (we will be sitting in with MOPS)

May 9th- Tea & Testimony (catered year end event, you don't want to miss this!)

Thursday February 27th Mom's Day Out

We will be meeting for lunch at Kneaders at 12:00 on Thursday February 27th.  This is an opportunity for good food and fellowship.  For those of you that are interested we can head over to the Village at Meridian after to catch a movie.  Bring a girlfriend and enjoy some ME time...not mommy time :)  See you there.  Call me if you have any questions.

Friday Feb. 28th is our next MOMSnext meeting 9:30-11:30 in the Youth building.  Childcare is available for infant-schoolaged.  *Meridian schools are out of Friday so you may bring your kiddos into the older kids class.

Our next meeting is on Valentines Day...February 14th
We will focus our discussion on...you guessed it LOVE!  We will talk about Love in your marriage.  Also respecting your spouse and being submissive.  He is the head of the household, lets build him up and honor him and watch him grow as the leader God designed him to be.

We meet in the youth building from 9:30-11:30.  Childcare is available in the preschool building.
